Combatting Islamophobia :
Building a European Network

Get Involved!

FEMYSO has seen another successful year of campaigning, knowledge sharing and research alongside its 33 member organisations, partners and wide volunteer base that span all over Europe. This Newsletter will highlight the important work we have achieved on behalf of European Muslim Youth throughout the past year.

We look forward to starting off the New Year with more effective campaigns, enhanced communication and stronger ties with all our member organisations, partners and all youth across Europe.

Here is a sneak preview of what FEMYSO will be working towards during 2013
:

Green up My Community

The campaign will educate European Muslim youth to campaign for climate and trade justice issues, encouraging them to think and live "Green" and training them in the skills needed to change the habits of their local communities.

The Situation of Muslim Youth in Europe
The final research report will be launched in the European Parliament in Brussels to an invited audience of policymakers, politicians and civil society institutions in order to provide a resource for better policy-making. This project is supported by the European Youth Foundation of the Council of Europe.

2012 has been another exciting year for FEMYSO, we have seen developments and positive change throughout all departments and activities with the constant support of our volunteers.

We wish to thank all our volunteers for sharing their skills and donating their time to make this work a success.
