FEMYSO is an international non-profit NGO registered in Belgium, FEMYSO submits our aggregated annual accounts to the Belgian authorities. 

Our Income streams consist of the following: 

• Institutional Grants 

Similarly, to most European youth organisations FEMYSO applies for Institutional funding such as of the European Commission, European Parliament, the Council of Europe (study sessions) and the European Youth Foundation. As well on European foundations grants, for example from the European Network Against Racism (ENAR) and Open Society Foundations (OSF). 

• Member Organisation Fees 

Another source of income comes from the Member Organisations’ annual membership fees. These membership fees are €300 for each Member Organisation, with an exception made for international Member Organisations who are requested to pay a higher membership fee. 

• Grassroots Fundraising 

Grassroots fundraising involves the mobilisation and coordination of young Muslims on the ground, through FEMYSO’s members’ network and social media, to conduct fundraising campaigns that aim to raise funds for the general or specific activities of FEMYSO. Since 2019 FEMYSO has won LaunchGood fundraising challenges, with over 1500 individual donors, displaying the convening strength of the organisation. FEMYSO also allows for individual donations which can be made on our website.
