EUROPEAN MUSLIM YOUTH CONFERENCE

The European Muslim Youth Conference took place in 29th June-5th July 2011 in Brussels, and brought together over 150 participants from all over Europe. It provided a space to bring together youth from a diverse set of backgrounds and nationalities to discuss the issues affecting them in Europe, their effects on a global scale and ways of addressing this issue. 

 

The conference provided a proactive platform for participants to discuss the challenges they face and come with creative and feasible solutions to them; two of the project ideas which were conceived by the participants at the EMYC, were further developed by FEMYSO as years-long campaigns: 

Another two projects were made a reality by the participants in their local and regional realities. 

 

The conference had a combination of participants-lead sessions, panel discussions and key notes speeches.
